A lost girl, a tortured soul. 

I hope with everything I am that there is someone to take care of her up there.

It breaks my heart that so many of the legends we remember, self distructed before they could live and bask in the glory of the successes they had worked so hard for, and absolutely deserved. 

It is a sad day. 

The mould of real artists dying before their time has to be broken. 

She fought with ghosts and demons but was unable to find a lighter pathway out of her darkness. 

But, as legends do, she has left her mark on this earth and our children, and our children’s children will know of the talent she possessed and left in her name. 

Amy Winehouse, rest in peace.
